New Rochelle's CASAROMA CAFE, a community-focused DOMINICAN SPECIALTY COFFEE SHOP, launched its first-ever house-roasted, Dominican & Guatemalan blend, PALMA, as a milestone offering inspired by the resilience and beauty of the palm tree.

I had the pleasure of designing the packaging illustration for this special and wonderfully aromatic bag of coffee beans. My illustration combines hand-drawn and digitally collaged elements to highlight both the coffee’s geographical origins and its flavor profile. Throughout the process, I ensured the design reflected Casaroma’s unique brand identity, which emphasizes collaboration and community, while also exploring unconventional coffee packaging styles that stand out on the shelf. The result is a distinctive coffee packaging that captures the spirit of the brand and appeals to coffee lovers seeking something fresh and authentic.

The BLACK EQUITY COLLECTIVE is a network dedicated to strengthening the long-term sustainability of Black-led and Black-empowering organizations in Southern California by connecting funders, nonprofits, and community leaders based mainly out of California.

For their 2025 EQUITY & JUSTICE SYMPOSIUM, themed ROOTED TOGETHER: THE FUTURE OF BLACK EQUITY, I was given the opportunity to contribute to the visual direction as a junior designer to DENISE COKE of SNP DESIGNS, helping to conceptualize a cover design that exudes resilience through imagery while creating joy and vibrancy through color. While of course my design was not the final iteration, my core concepts—such as the depiction of roots, a half-split composition, and the choice of tree—significantly influenced the final event branding, creating a beautiful display of material to further support the symposium's directive for this event.

I designed album covers for two dynamic artists from the Bronx: MIZZIE FROM THE X and SCOTTPHOX. Both designs encapsulate the essence of each artist’s unique sound and narrative.

Mizzie, an independent rapper, singer, and songwriter, released her single "IVY" this past November. In this bold track with an aggressive edge, she lyrically defends herself against outside influences, likening them to poison ivy. My design aims to reflect this intensity and urban grit, combining vivid hand-drawn elements with a lush green backdrop, symbolizing resilience and her message's raw, unyielding nature.

ScottPhox, a DJ specializing in bass-heavy genres like riddim, tearout dubstep, and techno, unveiled his track "MIMIC" this past October — a dark, chaotic production with eerie, uncanny valley-inspired soundscapes.

The track’s unsettling energy is mirrored in the distorted visuals of the album cover, which features chaotic scribbles and haunting textures, evoking the sense of something imitating human expression but with an eerie, distorted twist. The result is an atmosphere of hypnotic unease, much like the track itself, which immerses listeners in a disjointed, fractured world of bass-heavy drops and glitchy rhythms.

I developed conceptual packaging designs for an artist collectible that highlights COVL's standout character,

ZURi— the sassy, adventurous, yet shy tentacle.

The packaging features a minimalistic design with soft gradients to ensure that it does not overwhelm the vibrant color story and intricate details of ZURi. This subtle approach allows the character's rich hues and origins as an imaginary sea creature to take center stage, while the understated packaging complements and frames the complex elements that will be revealed within being the toy itself and a spunky comic book about her adventures, creating a cohesive and engaging presentation.

Inspired by MARTA MINUJIN's vibrant "LA MENESUNDA" exhibition, I designed three dynamic chocolate bar packages for THE NEW MUSEUM shop that reflect the essence of the artist's work.

The bold colors and large typeface evoke the exhibition's neon-lit energy and chaotic forms, creating a striking visual impact that not only captures attention but also aims to draw greater recognition to Minujín and her artistic vision. By inviting consumers to indulge in the fun and unconventional experience these chocolate bars offer, the design serves as a celebration of both the artwork and the creative spirit behind the exhibition.
